Common questions about plans
Yes. The free plan is free forever and includes up to 100 cloud notes synced across your devices; it shows ads and does not support images. Paid plans add unlimited notes, images, no ads, and features like the advanced editor, Kanban, PDF export, and encryption.
Only on the free plan, and only our own ads, marked with an "Ad" label. There are no third-party scripts or trackers, ads never appear in the editor, and your notes are never read for advertising. Any paid plan removes ads completely.
Not exactly. On the Platinum plan, synced notes are stored with server-side encryption (AES-256-GCM) in the database, but this isn't end-to-end encryption — the master key remains usable by system administrators for emergency access, which is logged. This protects against a database leak, not against server-side access.
On every plan, you can always export your notes for free as Markdown or ENEX and take them to any other app. We never hold your data hostage.
